BERGER-STEIN Engagement

Joslyn Berger of St. Louis, daughter of Norman and Andrea Berger of Tucson, Ariz. and Ari Stein of Norfolk, Va., son of Steve and Cindy Stein of Virginia Beach, Va. and Dr. and Mrs. Marshall Bonnie of Norfolk, Va., have announced their engagement.
She is the granddaughter of Evelyn Berger of St. Louis and Harry Berger, of blessed memory, and Dana and Julian Roman, of blessed memory, of Quincy, Ill. He is the grandson of Gerald Stein and Arlene Stein, of blessed memory, of Norfolk, and Ginette Hus and Max Hus, of blessed memory, of Grenoble, France.
The bride-to-be received her B.A. degree in mass communications from the University of Delaware and is currently an interactive advertising consultant. Her fiancé is receiving his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, Calif. He received his bachelor of science degree in film from the University of Miami in Miami, Fla.
The couple met when they were living and working in Portland, Ore. Ari proposed to Joslyn while hiking in Sabino Canyon near Tucson while the couple was there for Thanksgiving in 2011.
An October, 2012 wedding is planned, after which the couple plans to reside in Virginia.
