Jessica Lauren Berg and Scott Michael Schatz were married July 18, 2015 at The Fox Theatre in a traditional Jewish ceremony officiated by Rabbi Deana Sussman.  

Jessica is the daughter of Robert and Sherri Berg of Creve Coeur and the granddaughter of Jerry and the late Betty Berg of Town and Country, and Marshall Gross of Creve Coeur and Joan Gross of Los Angeles.  

Scott is the son of Jeffrey and Elissa Schatz of Chesterfield and the grandson of Burton and Hyla Vander of Canton, Ohio, and the late Stanley and the late Shirley Schatz of Dayton, Ohio.  

The bride chose her cousin Danielle Berg as maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were the bride’s cousins, Jennifer and Rebecca Berg; the groom’s sister Lauren Schatz; and friends Adrienne Nelinson, Courtney Kaiser, Jill Gross, Julie Abeles, Justine Ward, Karah Galmiche, Kristen LaBruyere, Samantha Katzman, Samantha Seligsohn and Taylor Horwitz.  The groom chose his friends Jeffrey Boxer, Noah Sudow, and William Hoffman as best men. Groomsmen were the bride’s brother Zachary Berg, and friends Adam Van Hart, Blake Zimmermann, Brandon Fine, Bryan Briggs, David Roberts and Mark Meister.  

The couple met on J Date at the end of 2010, and Scott proposed in July of 2014 at a favorite walking trail in front of a beautiful water feature with family present.  

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and now reside in Creve Coeur.
