Alvin and Alice Redler celebrate 65th anniversary

Alvin and Alice (Feldman) Redler of Creve Coeur recently celebrated their 65th anniversary. Alice and Al started dating after meeting at a party when she was 16 and he 19. On April 14, 1957, they married when she was 19 and he 22 in her parents’ home by Rabbi Jerome Grollman of United Hebrew.

They have lived their entire lives in St. Louis, raised three children here, ran a family insurance business here (and have had the same telephone number for 57 years!). Family means everything to them and they love when their children and grandchildren, some of whom are out of town, come in to visit.

They love to see the sights of St. Louis, play with their cat, go out with their friends, watch the birds and squirrels in the bird feeders, watch their tomato plants come alive and Alice absolutely loves to cook for Al.

Alice and Al are the parents of Jodi Redler, Vicki Redler Chervitz (Marc Chervitz) and Craig Redler. They are the grandparents of Sammy, Sophie and Nathaniel Chervitz, and Cameron and Olivia Redler.
