Alyssa Zara Alterman, of Denver, Colo., daughter of Henry and Renee Alterman of New Orleans, La., and Seth Jordan Winnerman, of Denver, Colo., son of Jim and Barbara Winnerman of Creve Coeur, Mo., have announced their engagement. She is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Harry Leveque of New Orleans and Mrs. Vaunne Lancaster of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Alterman of Miami, Fl. He is the grandson of the late Nathan and Thelma Winnerman of St. Louis and the late Morris Silverman, and Meyer and the late Selma Silverman Kahan, all of St. Louis. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Tusculum College and is currently a physical education teacher at Hi-Tech Early College High School. Her fiancé is a graduate of the University of Kansas and received his master’s from Regis University. He is currently Executive Director of cityWild. They met on JDate. A November, 2011 wedding is planned in New Orleans.
