Andi Alper and Matthew Deutsch would like to announce their engagement.
Andi is the daughter of Ellen and Steve Alper of Chesterfield, and the granddaughter of Shirley Alper of St. Louis.
Matthew is the son of Charlie and Naomi Ruth Deutsch of St. Louis, and Ellen and Howard Lerner of Austin, Texas.
Andi is a Prosecuting Attorney for St. Louis County and Matthew works in building maintenance for Avenir Apartments.
Andi’s mom, Ellen Alper, noted that St. Louis matchmaker Paula Sparks of Sparksmatch fixed the couple up. “It’s what happens when Jewish mamas get involved,” she said.
