Harriet and David Adelstein recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. The couple has three children, Cheryl Adelstein (Dan Davison), Michael Adelstein and Wendy Adelstein, and two grandchildren, Hannah Davison and Mara Davison.

Harriet (Noveson) and David Adelstein were married on Dec. 31, 1961 in St. Louis, at La Chateau by Rabbi Jerome Grollman of United Hebrew Congregation.

Daughter of the late Eli and Minnie (Bournstein) Noveson, and son of the late Hyman and Esther (Seltzer) Adelstein, the couple met and became engaged in 1961 at the wedding of the bride’s cousin, Sarah Doris (Edelstein) to Sanford Willick.

The couple have resided in St. Louis for all of their married life.

On Dec. 31, 2021, the family held a small party at Spiro’s Chesterfield location to celebrate the couple’s milestone.
