Jamie Lynn Prywitch, daughter of Audrey and Rick Prywitch of Chesterfield, and Dr. Richard Charles Gallant, son of Amy and Steve Gallant of Chesterfield, have announced their engagement. 

Jamie is the granddaughter of Ruth Randolph and the late Robert Krohngold of Miami, Fla., and Shirley and Marvin Prywitch of Chesterfield.  Richie is the grandson of the late Fred Sobel and Ruth Sobel of Creve Coeur, and Paul and Diane Gallant of Creve Coeur.

Jamie is a graduate of Parkway Central High School and University of Missouri where she earned a Bachelor of Journalism. She is currently a research consultant for Brandtrust, a research and strategy firm based in Chicago, Ill. 

Richie is a graduate of Whitfield School, Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Molecular and Cellular Biology, and University of Missouri Kansas City with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He is currently the owner of the Gallant Dental Group in Maryland Heights.  

An October 2019 wedding is planned.
