Goldstein-Berenson Wedding

Melanie Goldstein and Daniel Berenson have announced their upcoming wedding. 

Melanie is the daughter of Maxine and Ken Goldstein of Clayton. She is the granddaughter of the late Merle and Milton Goldstein, and the late Pearl and Bill Kramer, all of St. Louis.

Daniel is the son of Barbara and Richard Berenson of Newton, Mass. He is the grandson of Elizabeth and Jerome Fischbein of Cupertino, Calif., and the late Judith and Richard Berenson of Brookline, Mass. 

Melanie graduated from Clayton High School and Stanford University, where she earned a B.A. and an M.A. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Italy from 2013 to 2014 and co-principal cellist of the Orchestra Giovanile Italiana. Melanie currently attends Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and will receive her M.B.A. in 2020.

Daniel received a B.S. from Yale University and currently attends Stanford School of Medicine in the combined M.D./Ph.D. Medical Scientist Training Program. He received his Ph.D. in biology from Stanford University in June 2019 and expects to receive his M.D. in 2021.

Melanie and Daniel met at a Yom Kippur break-fast at Stanford Hillel, and began dating shortly thereafter. The executive director of Stanford Hillel will officiate the ceremony to commemorate their first meeting. Their September 2019 wedding date would have been the centennial birthday of Melanie’s beloved grandmother, Pearl Kramer.
