Jonathan Brodsky, son of Dan Brodsky and Donna Ploof, of St. Louis will have his bar mitzvah June 13, 2015 at Temple Emanuel. 

Jonathan attends Parkway Southwest Middle School and will in the eighth grade this fall. Jonathan’s siblings are Rachel Hicks of Walla Walla, Washington, David Brodsky of St. Louis, and Angela Beffa of Arkansas. Jonathan’s grandfather is Andrew Ploof of St. Louis. 

Jonathan is dedicated to eliminating hunger and homelessness in the local community, so he has volunteered at several food pantries this year, including the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.
