Wandering Jews: A scavenger hunt to benefit Temple Israel
Published August 23, 2019
Congregation Temple Israel is once again hosting a St. Louis-area scavenger hunt on Saturday night, Sept. 7. Each team (cars of six or less) will have to use their creativity to hunt for abstract items including themes, people, landmarks, household items and more.
Teams will be charged with gathering items, taking pictures and videos, and answering questions to present to judges at the end of the evening. The scavenger hunt is open to anyone age 21 or older from the entire St. Louis community.
Participants will meet for team check-in and snacks at 5 p.m. at Temple Israel, #1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive. From 6 to 9 p.m. the scavenger hunt will take teams throughout St. Louis as they search to find various items and take pictures. At 9 p.m., teams will meet back at TI to submit scavenger hunt proof and for desserts.
The cost is $60 in advance (teams of six or less); $75 at the door on event night. Register a team at www.ti-stl.org/Hunt (to be placed on a team, contact Amy Lampert, event chair, at [email protected] or 314-496-5735). All proceeds benefit Temple Israel.
