Spring Accessory Trends
How trendy do you aspire to be when it comes to this spring’s fashion accessories? The answer might very well depend on price, comfort, age appropriateness and practicality. Gladiator-inspired sandals might be all the rage on the runway, but not so much for planting petunias along the driveway.
We reached out to some internationally known Jewish designers, and also checked out St. Louis area shops and boutiques, asking those in the know what they see as the top trends this spring in women’s shoes, handbags, jewelry and other accessories. What follows are the Top 10.
- Bucket bags (Rebecca Minkoff, Mini-Fiona Bucket Bag, $225), as well as handbags with details such as color blocking.
- Chunky chokers and statement necklaces (like this stone floral one from Max Azaria for BCBG, $128).
- Bracelets that have a dual function such as the Apple Watch (pictured here, the $599 version) or Fitbit.
- Wide-strapped, stacked heeled sandals (Tory Burch — Bleeker Slingback Sandals $ 350).
- Gladiator-inspired sandals (Kenneth Cole—Doone Metallic Leather Gladiator, $130).
- Colorful floppy hats (Rebecca Minkoff, $250).
- Futuristic sunglasses (See Eyewear, $99).
- Mismatched earrings.
- Bright lipsticks (like these from Bobbi Brown, $26 each).
- Light or bright nail polish (Estee Lauder, $21 each).
