Back by popular demand, St. Louis Jewish Light Editor-in-Chief Emeritus Bob Cohn is returning for his every-other-month meeting of “On the Record with Bob Cohn.”

The meeting will take place this Friday, February 11 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Bob will lead a timely discussion about the controversy over the Holocaust book “Maus,” recently banned by a Virginia school board, and Whoopi Goldberg’s remarks on “The View” that “the Holocaust was not about race; it was about man’s inhumanity to man.”

Bob wrote about this important topic in a column in this week’s Jewish Light online (click here). It is sure to be a  lively discussion! Register online, call 314-733-9813, or email [email protected].

On the Record with Bob Cohn

Bob has been leading this special interest group for Mirowitz Center-FEL (Friends Enjoying Life) since September, 2020.

“On the Record with Bob Cohn” meets online on the second Friday of every other month from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM to discuss films, plays, and books on issues of concern to our community.

Over the past two years, Cohn and the group have discussed many topics such as Jews in Film, What Makes Great Leaders, Why Some Leaders Fail, and current events. The next class on 2/11 will deal with the Holocaust book Maus and Whoopi Goldberg controversies.
