THE 411:  Highlights of the 10-day festival still include the marking of the 50th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy with a screening of “JFK” with director Oliver Stone doing a Q&A following the film; “Mandela: A Long Walk to Freedom” and “Running From Crazy,” about the Hemingway family, among dozens of other features, documentaries and short films.

THE 411: “Sister Act” tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe diva whose life takes a surprising turn when she witnesses a crime and the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look—a convent! Under the suspicious watch of Mother Superior, Deloris helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she unexpectedly rediscovers her own.

411: Get in shape for the big bird feast by sprinting off some carbs at this first annual event. Run, walk or waddle in the spirit of community and physical fitness. Proceeds will go to sponsor physical fitness activities and opportunities throughout our community as well as raise funds to start a charity for nurses and the citizens they serve.
